Hello Pleasant View Elementary! I am so excited to be teaching reading at PVE this year! I am a book lover and want to share that passion with my students. Some of my favorite books are the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary. I also love anything by L. M. Montgomery who wrote Anne of Green Gables. I am a huge fan of children’s literature and one of my favorite memories of raising my own little boys is reading books to them.
I have worked in Morgan County public schools in the past and am so happy to return. I will diligently work to help each student grow as a reader.
I live right here in Morgan County. My husband is a native of the county, but I grew up in Grant County. We have raised our three wonderful sons here in Great Cacapon. We also have a lovely daughter-in-law and are to welcome a granddaughter in December. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my personal life and at Pleasant View.
