Attention Morgan County Families:

The West Virginia Department of Education is excited to announce that student applications are now open for 10th grade students to apply for the 2026 Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA). West Virginia Wesleyan College will host the residential program on their campus in Buckhannon from June 21-July 11, 2026. This FREE honors program is open to students who have an interest in Creative Writing, Dance, Digital Art/Media, Instrumental Music, Studio Art, Theatre Arts, or Vocal Music. For additional information, review the applications and audition requirements. The application deadline is: Friday, March 6, 2026. Please reach out to your school counselor if you have questions!
