Due to impending weather, Morgan County Schools' Social Studies fair scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Warm Springs Middle School, is postponed to Saturday, February 24, 2024.

This is just a friendly reminder that all current 6th-grade students will be required to have the following two immunizations prior to the beginning the 7th grade school year. As a reminder, there is a scheduled 2-hour early dismissal for this Friday, February 16 for Faculty Senate and there is no school on Monday, February 19.

Morgan County Schools will close for in-person learning Tuesday, February 13. This will be Non-Traditional Instructional Day #4. Employees will follow reporting code A. All evening activities are cancelled.

Due to forecasted weather in the morning, Morgan County Schools will be operating on a two hour delay for Tuesday, February 13. Employees follow reporting code D. We will reevaluate in the morning.

Attention families of 8th graders: Is your middle schooler interested in investigating the universe and studying the mysteries of outer space utilizing data from the Green Bank Observatory in Pocahontas County? Accessing the information under the guidance of nationally recognized scientists and instructors, students will learn about planets, the Milky Way, black holes, and distant galaxies at this year's Governor's STEM Institute for 8th graders.
