For this school year we decided to implement a 0 period before we start academic instruction every day. The 0 period is a way for teachers to get their students outside and have them do some type of fitness activity to get the students blood flowing, minds clear, and to get the body working. Today was the start of our 0 period and it has been a blast.

Parents/Guardians- these are a new style of Vapes that are being sold. Not sure why companies are allowed to make them “kid friendly.” Please be on the lookout.

Thank you to Norman Smith “Smitty” who donated his time today at WSMS preparing the grounds for the new butterfly garden. The 6th grade science team and MC after 3 are working together to build a micro ecosystem for monarchs and will help teach the students how to tag them. The students will be able to track the migration using the tags.
