*All children eligible for Kindergarten  (must be 5 years old before July 1, 2022) 
 and parents are invited! Come visit your school, teachers, and aides.

The Pre-K classrooms will visit at the following times:
Miss Susan and Miss Taylor at 8:45 am
Miss Becky and Mr. Dave at 9:45 am
All other eligible children may select one of the following times to visit:
8:45 am  or  9:45 am  

Coming up on the final lap of our Attendance Race and the students have done an amazing job! Thanks to all who participated and showed their support!! 



Today's Teacher Appreciation is Widmyer Elementary School.  Help us thank all their teachers and make them feel extra special by shining today.
Today we had our first of many Pop-Up Farmer's Markets! Thanks to Glascock's Produce and the many community volunteers!!  




May 9 is our scheduled Paint Night for this spring.  We have had to stop accepting RSVP's and start a wait list.  If you are on the waitlist, you have been contacted by Ms. Byrd.  If you are no longer able to attend, please call Widmyer and ask for Ms. Byrd.  This will give us the opportunity to open a spot for another family.
The Morgan County Virtual Academy application is currently open for the 2022-2023 school year.  Learn more about the structure and requirements of the academy at https://www.morganschools.net/page/virtual-academy. Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2022.  

Yearbook orders are due tomorrow, April 27. You may order online or by returning the envelope and payment to school.
We will be swapping lunches on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
We have reached our capacity for the upcoming Paint Night. The response has been overwhelming!  Going forward, any RSVPs that we receive will be put on a wait list, and you will receive a phone call if a spot opens and we are able to accommodate you.
We want to give a big shout-out to this group of Attendance Race Winners!!

As a reminder, Friday, April 15 is now a Non-Traditional Instructional Day for students. There is no school for students Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22 for Spring Break.

Is your upcoming K-5 student interested in attending a summer camp? If so, then Camp MoCo is a great opportunity. Camp MoCo is available for all students entering grades K-5 in the 2022-2023 school year.

Calendar Update: Friday, April 15 was previously scheduled to be an early dismissal.  It will now be a non-traditional instructional day. Students will not attend school in person that day but instead be engaged as directed by their teachers. Staff will report to work.
