For parents new to Wes, we will need all additional paperwork turned in prior to the start of school if you have not already turned it in. That paperwork includes, but may not be limited to, birth certificate, shot records, proof of residency, and custody papers if applicable. The paperwork must be on file before 8/24. The office is open Mon-Fri, 8:00-2:30.

Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, we have to reschedule the Kindergarten Back to School night. The event will now take place on August 19, 2021 at 6:00 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you.

As we prepare for the opening of school, here is some information to help get us started. If you need to turn in enrollment paperwork such as shot records, birth certificates, etc., someone will be at Widmyer on Aug 3, 4, and 5 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm to accept it. Remember that all paperwork must be submitted before August 24. Also, a letter will be mailed out on Friday with your child's teacher and Back to School Night information. Kindergarten is Aug. 11; Widmyer pre-k, 1st and 2nd are Aug 20.

We have received word that all mask mandates from Governor Justice and the WVDE have now been lifted. Staff and students are no longer required to wear masks for any reason. Staff and students may wear a mask if they choose to do so, but no one is required to wear one at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have navigated the pandemic together.
