Here are a couple of reminders for the upcoming week for Warm Springs Middle School.
First, report cards will go home with students on Monday afternoon.
Second, we will be hosting a parent teacher conference this Tuesday, October 29 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
The WSMs concession stand will be open in case anyone needs to buy a drink or snack.
This is a reminder that we would like for all staff and students to wear red tomorrow to help WSMS celebrate Red Ribbon Week. All staff and students wearing red will be in an awesome group picture tomorrow morning.

We are thrilled to announce the formation of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at our school! This prestigious organization recognizes and celebrates outstanding middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. The program is an extension of the National Honor Society and is dedicated to encouraging academic achievement and promoting the importance of community service. Membership is a mark of distinction that reflects a student's commitment to their education and community. To be eligible, students must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA. All eligible students received a Student Information Form Packet that should be completed and turned in by November 8, 2024 if they are interested in joining the organization.
The Tech Club is gaining hands-on experience by learning how to disassemble and reassemble Chromebooks.

WSMS Student Council Float at the 2024 Apple Butter parade.
WSMS will hold their Halloween Dance on Friday, October 18 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Students are allowed to wear costumes that are appropriate (no masks). Cost is $5.00, and concessions will be sold as well.
Criteria to attend are 0 F's the 1st 9 weeks, 0 discipline referrals since September 20, and less than 5 days of unexcused absences.
Mr. Prinkey and Mrs. Kesecker combined their 7th grade math classes and performed a percentage/ tax activity. The students had a blast.

Flex practices are open to any students in grades 6-8, that are attending to tryout for basketball. Students must have a 2.0 GPA from the second semester of last school year (except 6th grade).
