Due to staffing concerns and the need to provide additional planning and collaborative time and professional development for our staff, there will be no school for students on Friday, November 12. Staff will report as normal. As a reminder, Thursday, November 11 is Veterans Day with no school for students or staff. We are trying our best to keep schools open every day as we continue to struggle to find substitutes. This is a reminder to all 7th and 12th grade students that your proof of vaccination is due now. 7th grade students need proof of the MCV4 (meningitis) and Tdap vaccine. 12th grade students need proof of the MCV4 (meningitis) vaccine. If you fail to turn in a copy of the immunization reports for the required vaccine you will not be able to attend classes or participate in sports. Please turn these in ASAP to the school nurse.

Due to the heavy rains forecasted for the afternoon, Morgan County Schools will be dismissing 2 hours early today. All after-school and evening activities are canceled.
In preparation for the forecasted heavy rainfall over the next couple of days, we wanted to let parents know that the school schedule may need to be adjusted. There is a possibility that we may need to do an early release tomorrow afternoon and a potential for a possible delay on Thursday. Please make sure that you have alternative plans for your children and communicate those plans to the school as needed.
