
Morgan County Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Huber as the new Director of Student Support Services. Ms. Huber, currently serving as Principal of Warm Springs Intermediate School, will begin her new role effective July 1, 2025.
With a strong background in educational leadership and student advocacy, Rebecca Huber brings valuable experience and dedication to her new position. As Principal at Warm Springs Intermediate School, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment while also improving student achievement each year during her tenure.
As Director of Student Support Services, Ms. Huber will oversee programs designed to enhance student well-being, including counseling, social work, and special education. Her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that every student in Morgan County Schools receives the support necessary to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Morgan County Schools Superintendent David Banks expressed enthusiasm about the appointment: “We are confident that Rebecca’s expertise and passion for student success will greatly benefit our district. Her proven leadership and compassionate approach align perfectly with our mission of Every Child, Every Day.”

🎓 It’s Graduation Day, Class of 2025! 🎓
🌟 We are excited to announce that the 2025 BSHS Graduation will be held OUTSIDE (rain or shine) on the football field today, May 22 starting promptly at 5:30pm. Graduates are to convene in the multi-purpose room at 4:30pm. 🌟
We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2025 OUTSIDE so that all who want to may attend! Here are some important details:
☔Weather forecast calls for cool temperatures, chance of wind chills, and chance of rain. Please be prepared for all possible scenarios and bring what you need: blankets, ponchos, layers, and umbrellas.
🚫 Pop up tents, canopies, and easy-ups will NOT be permitted in the stands or on the field to ensure visibility and safety for all guests. Personal umbrellas only to ensure visibility for all guests and families and their graduates on this very special day.
🚌 A shuttle will be available from 4:15pm to 5:30pm and run down Concord Ave to Widmyer Elementary. Feel free to park comfortably in the Widmyer parking lots and hop on the shuttle to the BSHS football field.
📺 The ceremony will be live-streamed in the BSHS auditorium for those who still want to view the ceremony but sit comfortably in our auditorium seating out of the weather conditions. Auditorium seating is first come, first served.
Gates will open at 4:15pm and the ceremony will start at 5:30pm. We have worked hard to make this experience memorable and open to all who wish to attend. We appreciate your grace and support as we prioritize this celebration of our graduates. So be sure to bundle up and bring an umbrella and make this an evening to remember. 💙💛

From April 28-May 2 the BSHS Student Council Hosted a blessing box drive. They collected over 1,100 items: food, clothes, hygiene, baby products, shoes, etc. to donate to the local blessing box!


On the evening of May 9th AP art students held their reception/meet the artist at Creekside Collective Gallery for their Emerging Artists Exhibitions Show.
Three seniors received their graduation cords for NAHS and three students were inducted into the NAHS.
It was a wonderful evening celebrating art and student artists.
If you haven't stopped by to check the show out, it will be open through May 31st. You have the opportunity to own a piece of art by one of these talented ladies!








For Teacher Appreciation Week, The teachers at BSHS held an Underground Spirit Week where whey dressed up in secret and didn't tell the students! Thank you to all who participated and made the week a success!

BSHS PASS PROGRAM


3 of our educators traveled to Fairmont Educator Flights at the Army National Guard. While there they got to fly in a Black Hawk Helicopter and tour the 201st Army Battery HQ. They also received recruiting info for our students. Thank you ANG and Sgt. Miley for this opportunity!
