The Berkeley Springs High School Band traveled to Musselman High School yesterday to participate in the 2026 WV Region IX Adjudication Festival. The band performed two selections for a panel of three state judges and received an overall rating of Excellent for their performance. Congratulations to these hardworking musicians for representing Berkeley Springs High School with pride and musical excellence!

Berkeley Springs High School made history this past weekend as the BSHS Chess Team captured the State Championship at the 55th West Virginia State Scholastic Chess Championship in Clarksburg, WV, on March 21. Competing against six strong teams and 31 players in the high school division, BSHS demonstrated focus, consistency, and resilience across five intense rounds of competition, finishing with an outstanding 12.5 points, five points ahead of second place, to secure the first state chess title in school history.
