Forensics students conducted a mock crime scene to solve the murder of Velma Dinkley 🕵️♀️ they learned some great skills of how to conduct a search, analyze evidence, and interview suspects
Did you smell burnt sugar in the science wing? Honors Chemistry analyzed the properties of ionic and covalent compounds and determined that sugar (a covalent compound) melts faster than salt (an ionic compound)! 🧪
Anatomy students used their culinary skills to create a skeletal muscle model out spaghetti 👩🍳
Anatomy students dissected a chicken wing to compare its structure to a human arm 🐓
Ever wonder how our bodies know when to react? Anatomy students have been investigating the nervous system and how it responds to stimuli to receive signals. Here they are teaching their peers about the different types of neuroglial cells that provide support to the nervous system.
Attention BSHS Parents/Guardians - After school tutoring will begin on December 1st after Thanksgiving break. It will be available on Monday and Tuesday right after school until 5:00pm. Transportation will be provided down our main roads. Pick up will need to be scheduled with us. We will have an enrollment form that will include pick up information.
