The State of West Virginia and the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) are pleased to offer, at no cost, premier summer programs for students following their seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades in school. Students are being given their Quarter 2 unexcused absence dates this week on a note to come home. Please contact the office with any questions. Notes must be submitted by 1/23.
BSHS Driver Ed classes and other students participated in Share the Road, a highway safety program of the American Trucking Associations (ATA). Million mile accident free professional truck drivers delivered life-saving safety tips and discussed blind spots, following distance, passing a truck, and distracted driving. Every student had the opportunity to climb in the truck and see firsthand how large the blind spots are. A big thanks to our local State Farm agent Luke Christie for bringing us this program.

The BSHS Dance classes would like to thank the Miller's for the opportunity to be part of the Snowflake Pageant. We performed 4 dances to give the contestants time to change during intermission. We are honored to have Lexus Miller as part of our dance family and to be able to celebrate her.
