Attention BSHS Jumpstart and JRTI students and caregivers: classes for you will begin on Wednesday, August 20th. Your BSHS classes will still begin tomorrow, August 19th. If you will be on campus during your JRTI or Jumpstart times tomorrow you will report to the media center.

Berkeley Springs FFA attends WV FFA State Convention at Cedar Lakes in Ripley WV. Students attended various sessions contest finals. Jeremiah Clark participated in Zero turn lawn mower safety contest. BSHS competed in the State Land Judging and Homesite Evaluation contest. Six BSHS FFA members received their State FFA Degree's. Wyatt Bartley participated in the State FFA Band and talent show.

Morgan County Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Huber as the new Director of Student Support Services. Ms. Huber, currently serving as Principal of Warm Springs Intermediate School, will begin her new role effective July 1, 2025. With a strong background in educational leadership and student advocacy, Rebecca Huber brings valuable experience and dedication to her new position. As Principal at Warm Springs Intermediate School, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment while also improving student achievement each year during her tenure. As Director of Student Support Services, Ms. Huber will oversee programs designed to enhance student well-being, including counseling, social work, and special education. Her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that every student in Morgan County Schools receives the support necessary to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Morgan County Schools Superintendent David Banks expressed enthusiasm about the appointment: “We are confident that Rebecca’s expertise and passion for student success will greatly benefit our district. Her proven leadership and compassionate approach align perfectly with our mission of Every Child, Every Day.” Ms. Huber stated, “I am honored to take on this new role and look forward to collaborating with staff, families, and the community to provide the best possible support for our students.” Morgan County Schools congratulates Rebecca Huber on her appointment and looks forward to her contributions in this vital role.
