appreciation to their teachers. They surprised their teacher with a card and a cup of coffee to start their day!

The 6th grade science class explored fish this week! They learned about the different species, how to filet a fish, what they eat, and how to hold one.
They found eggs in the bass and were able to put them under the microscope. They learned about shiners, which was the bait we used to catch the bass.
They also found a crayfish in the stomach of the bass and explored the sequence of the life cycle!

As we finish out the National School Counseling Week, we would like to say "Thank You" to all of Morgan County School Counselors. Every student deserves a school counselor to help with academic achievement strategies, managing emotions and applying interpersonal skills, and planning for postsecondary options. School counselors are #HelpingStudentsDreamBig.

National School Counseling Week Spotlight goes to Robin Langenstein at Warm Springs Middle School. Thank you for your continued support to students. School counselors help students in more ways than you may know. Every day, school counselors make a difference for students. This week we celebrate them as a part of National School Counseling Week 2023.
