Acceptance letters will be sent via email by noon on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

As as reminder there is no school on Monday, May 30th for Memorial Day and the last day of school for students is Wednesday, June 1st.

There will be a yearbook for WSMS. We had an individual reach out to us this morning to help and we will be working with them to have it ready by the end of July.
We will be posting the link to order yearbooks and doing school connects calls as soon we have more information ready to send out.

As part of the 2022 West Virginia Katherine Johnson Day celebrations, the Greenbrier Historical Society in Lewisburg, WV invites students in Grades 6-8 to creatively visualize Katherine Johnson's story in the 2022 GHS "Reaching for the Moon" Graphic Art Contest. A first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention winner will be selected from all entries. The application for Camp Alpha, a summer program at Warm Springs Middle School, is currently available online through May 13. Camp Alpha is a remediation and enrichment program for current WSMS students. Upcoming 6th graders for the 2022-2023 school year may also apply. Tomorrow our students at Warm Springs Middle School will start GSA testing. Testing will be Tuesday and Thursday this week. Please make sure your child gets a good nights sleep and their chromebooks are charged up ready to go.
Also speak to your child about taking their time and working hard on the tests.
Last please remind them any misbehaviors will not be tolerated.

Join Morgan County Schools in congratulating our Golden Horseshoe winners for 2022. Landon Litten, Camden Spade, and Adam O'Brien from Warm Springs Middle School will be inducted as Knights of the Golden Horseshoe at a special celebration at the WV Culture Center in Charleston on June 14, 2022. Students have been honored for this prestigious award since 1931 by demonstrating exceptional knowledge of WV History on the state-administered exam. Landon, Camden, and Adam will be joining 221 other winners from across the state. Congratulations!

Are you interested in a summer camp teaching position?


Calendar Update: Friday, April 15 was previously scheduled to be an early dismissal. It will now be a non-traditional instructional day. Students will not attend school in person that day but instead be engaged as directed by their teachers. Staff will report to work.

Congratulations to Paige Waugh and Maya Souders, WSIS, who won first place in the Division I U.S. History group category at the Regional Social Studies Fair held at Musselman High School on March 19. Paige and Maya will be presenting their project, Helen Keller, at the State Social Studies Fair in Charleston on April 29.
