We kicked off teacher appreciation week with Mr. Harris whipping up waffles and sausage for the staff for a Monday breakfast. We need to find him a chef's hat.
What a great evening with the initial WSMS Jr. National Honor Society Induction ceremony. Special thanks to advisors Mrs. Hopkins and Ms. Simpkins for set up. Along with Mr. Helmick for the sound. To the students inducted we are so proud of you.
Morgan County’s day is Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:30-7:30 pm with a make-up day on Thursday, June 5th. Can you please help us get the word out at least for the middle school athletes and others who need a physical. We have physicians, nurses, and other professionals (including residents and med students) who help us with this event and I think they will find it very beneficial and best of all FREE

Special thanks to the Norris Homestead Farm for coming out to show their goats and how to trim hooves to Animal Care Club.
The Jr. FFA club busy filling boxes with soil.
Mrs. Harrington's Craft Club was back in action today with some neat projects.
The WSMS Builders Club building 2 planter boxes today for the greenhouse. The first box Mr. Harris helped the students. Second one was all student led.
Warm Springs Middle School PE classes working on golf skills and Riding for Life biking.
Please disregard the previous message about tomorrow's Jr. National Honor Society induction ceremony for those selected 7th & 8th grade students. We will now hold this ceremony next Monday evening at 5:00 PM at the WSMS gym. This will give parents and guardians plenty of notice to attend and also allow the advisors to meet with the kids tomorrow to discuss the ceremony. Again we apologize for the miscommunication and hopes that this will extended time will allow all to participate.

Just a reminder that the Warm Springs Middle School Book Fair will be open after school today and tomorrow from 3:30-5:30 PM. The fair is located in the library and visitors can come in through the main entrance.
Congratulations to Warm Springs Middle School 7th Grader Greyson Beckman who was been accepted to the WV Governor's School for the STEM Institute.
